Institution's Innovation Council

About IIC

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, has launched the MHRD’s Innovation Cell (MIC) to systematically cultivate a culture of innovation within Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the country. MIC’s core mission is to inspire, support, and nurture young students in their formative years by encouraging them to work on novel ideas. St Francis Institute of Management and Research (SFIMAR) College of Engineering, located in Fatorda, Goa, is proud to be selected as one of the institutions to establish an MHRD – Institute Innovation Council (IIC).

As part of our IIC, our students and faculty will have abundant opportunities to engage with MIC regularly and participate in various innovation initiatives, including the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) by the Government of India.
